A: The merchandise loaded into your carts began shipping within days of your run. However, some ticket items, including the diamond necklace and Samsung TV, continue to be fulfilled. Both items are being shipped directly from the manufacturer and therefore will require more time for fulfillment. Shipping confirmations will be sent directly to the email confirmed at the event, with deliveries expected by the end of March.

A: Damaged or missing items should be reported via the My Source menu options: Help Center>Contact Us. A missing item investigation will require a review of the run videos to validate that this item was in fact placed on your cart during your run and therefore may require more time for responses.

A: If you did not receive your prize at the event, you can expect to receive it via FedEx by 3/20.

A: The IRS defines this program as taxable; however, Verizon covers this cost for you. Verizon grosses up the value of the prize and adds the amount that you would have been taxed into the withholdings that appear in your check, which nets out the tax liability. For example, if a specific prize value is $10,000 and the total taxes on the trip are $2,500, the value of the trip is increased to $12,500 on your pay stub. The grossed-up amount, $2,500, is placed into your withholdings by Verizon on your behalf to cover the cost of the taxes.

A: Yes. You will be responsible for coordinating drop-off and pick-up from your home to your designated airport. We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure time. Travels in a personal car will be reimbursed for the mileage incurred and associated expenses (e.g., tolls, parking, etc.) reduced by the normal commute from an employee’s home to the normal work location. Visit the Verizon Travel Guidelines for additional information.

A: As this is just a one night event, you are only allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item that can fit under the seat in front of you. If you wish to check a bag, you can arrange for that in advance or at the airport at your own expense. Always refer to the TSA Travel Checklist for more specific guidelines.

A: You can upgrade your seat category by contacting the airline directly (phone, app, etc.) and it will be at your own expense if it is available for your flight. You will need your record number located in your flight confirmation to proceed with any changes. Any additional purchases in flight will be at your own expense.

A: Airport transfers will be pre-arranged for all winners between the Minneapolis International Airport (MSP) and the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America. You will be greeted at the airport and escorted to your transportation upon arrival. Transfers back to the airport will be directly from the prize warehouse after lunch (Group A), and after the afternoon run is complete (Group B).
Note: Airport Arrival Greeters will meet you in the Baggage Claim Area.

A: Check in your Event App to visit your detailed agenda. The first required group event activity will not begin until 3:30 PM CT. However, there will be several small group activities available to keep you busy and entertained after you complete your on-site registration.

A: We don’t want to spoil all of the fun, but outside of the main Unstoppable Run event, you will have time to celebrate with your fellow V Teamers and executive sponsors across various Markets and channels. You will also participate in some other fun and insightful activities sponsored by some of Strategic (OEM) Partners who help us deliver the #Unstoppable Verizon experiences to our customers every day!

A: Early check-ins and late check-outs cannot be guaranteed by the hotel property. The Verizon staff that will be on-site to assist you at check-in and throughout the event will attempt to work with the hotel to accommodate such requests. A secured luggage holding space will be available on the day of arrivals and departures.

A: No, this short travel event is intended exclusively for our V Teamers. Guests are not permitted to attend any portion of the event and cannot be added to any attendee required flight, hotel or transfer reservations made by our travel teams on your behalf.

A: Requested extensions were collected at the time of registration in addition to the required completion of a Extension Request Acknowledgement Form outlining the terms and conditions of a flight extension only.
If you are asking for a new extension, the following rules will still apply and you will be required to pay any additional air charges resulting from the change.
Verizon will not provide support with any arrangements outside of the event travel inclusions, nor will additional time off be granted for the purpose of the trip. If you have personal or regularly scheduled time off and choose to coordinate your own travel arrangements beyond your designated departure date, you can request a different date for your return flight.
*** Additional details will be provided to those that extended to advise if a reduced room rate is available to you closer to the event. This does not mean that you will be able to stay in the room you were booked in for the event, because our priority will be getting our next wave of winners checked in as early as possible.
You will be transferred back to the airport after your run with all other winners and will be responsible for securing transportation back to the JW Marriot if that is the hotel you plan on staying at your own expense.***
Run Day Questions

A: The Unstoppable Run Warehouse is filled with hundreds of top-brand merchandise ranging from electronics to luxury jewelry and handbags, sporting goods, kitchen appliances, kids’ toys, and everything in between. There is no shortage of wish list items waiting for you to grab!

A: No. Items that are too big to easily and safely grab will be replaced by merchandise tickets, so you do not have to worry about your most sought-after items slowing you down.

A: If you plan to attend the event but have a medical condition or concern that puts your health or safety at risk, you can be assigned an on-site delegate to run on your behalf. You were asked if a delegate runner was required during the registration process; however, if you need to make a change, please contact info@theunstoppablerun.com.
However, delegate runners will be limited so please only select this option if it is necessary. Please note that no considerations will be made if specific items are not successfully added to your cart by your delegate runner.

A: Each wave will have a morning and an afternoon run scheduled on day 2 of their event. Groups will be determined in advance and the order of runners will occur by random draw to take place at the event. Runners within each group (morning or afternoon) will be paired up for their run based on their assigned run number. For example: Group A #1 and #2 picks will run at the same time.
Note: Exact sequencing may be impacted by last minute runner changes.

A: The BI Worldwide event support team will ensure that all of your merchandise is shipped directly to the home address you provide at registration which will be verified at the Warehouse checkout station. They will plan to ship within three days of your departure, and you will receive tracking information so that you know when to expect it.

A: Winners will receive more event details beginning the week of December 11. This will include event details, travel, registration information and what else you can expect leading up to the event. A: Winners have been scheduled with others from their unique channel/market to include their business leaders. However, in extreme situations, where you would otherwise need to forfeit your prize package, we will make every attempt to move you to another Wave. The Registration/Travel team will require Verizon Event Team approval before a change can be made.

A: No, this Verizon-sponsored event will be considered paid time in conjunction with your normally scheduled working hours. You will not be required to use your vacation or personal days to attend the event.

A: Channel schedulers or scheduling teams will be made aware of your attendance at the event once registration is complete so that they can make adjustments to your assigned days off to avoid overlap. You will not be granted additional travel time unless there are no available flights on your scheduled arrival or departure date.

A: If you are in a position that allows for quota relief (Retail & Inside Sales Specialists only) per your respective 2023/2024 Sales Compensation Plan, you will receive quota relief for the program dates on which you attend the event. Quota relief will be applied manually and visible on employee statements the month after the dates of the Unstoppable Run event and after all other quota relief has been finalized.

A: In cases where an employee chooses to drive from one city to another city rather than fly, the employee will be paid actual mileage at the current mileage reimbursement rate or the equivalent airfare plus incremental mileage to the airport, whichever is less. A: FCM, our event travel partner, will have agents available to book your travel on your behalf using the information you provided as part of registration. Be sure to provide all pertinent details and special requests within the registration flow.
Your flights will be reserved approximately 1-3 business days after you complete your registration. You will be sent an email confirmation of your tentative flights allowing you to make sure all of your information is accurate before ticketing. Please ensure you respond back to the verizoneventtravel@us.fcm.travel email to confirm your flights so they can go ahead and make the reservation for you. If you don’t respond, your flights will not be confirmed.

A: Travel agents will source flights based on the information provided to determine the optimal itinerary for you within the Verizon travel and program guidelines. If you have a specific request, you will have an opportunity to make a note of that, but ultimately we will need to adhere to the event schedule start and end times for planning.
